Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 relieved you of the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
