HALLOWED is He who has set up in the skies great constellations, and has placed among them a [radiant] lamp and a light-giving moon. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 Multiplied for him shall be the torment on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall therein abide disgraced. 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 SAY [unto those who believe]: "No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!" And say unto those who deny [the truth:] "You have indeed given the lie [to God's message,] and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!" 77
