And a sign for them is the dead earth; We gave it life and We produced from it grain, so they eat from it. 33 And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: 34 so that they may consume the fruits and whatever their hands prepare. Will they not then be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not. 36 And a sign for them is the night; We strip the day out of it, thereupon they are in darkness. 37 The sun runs to its fixed resting place; that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower. 38 And the moon -- We have determined it by stations, till it returns like an aged palm-bough. 39 It behoves not the sun to overtake the moon, neither does the night outstrip the day, each swimming in a sky. 40 That We bore their progeny in the laden ark is a sign for them; 41 And We have created for them the like of it in which they board. 42 And if We will, We can drown them, so there would be no help in their distress, nor would they be saved. 43 except Our mercy which could enable them to enjoy themselves for an appointed time. 44 When it is said to them: 'Have fear of that which is before you and behind you in order that you find mercy' 45 Never does any Sign of their Lord come to them, but they turn away from it. 46 And when it is said to them: “Spend (in the Way of Allah) out of the sustenance that Allah has provided you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed him whom, Allah would have fed, had He so wished?” Say: “You are in evident error.” 47 They say: “When will this threat (of Resurrection) come to pass? Tell us if indeed you are truthful.” 48 They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. 49 And they will not be able to make a disposition, nor to their family they return. 50
