The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
