۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
