The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
