He made it. 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
