And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
