SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
