Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 and the partitioners, 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
