The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
