The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 and produce sparks 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
