And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
