We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
