And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 while We had brought the jinn into being before out of blazing fire. 27 When your Lord said to the angels: 'See, I am creating a mortal from clay of molded mud. 28 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 29 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely, 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 "How is it, O Iblis," said (the Lord), "you did not join those who bowed in homage?" 32 "How could I bow," said he, "before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard?" 33 (Allah) said: 'Begone, you are accursed! 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 36 He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved 37 till the Day the time whereof is known [to Me alone]." 38 He said, “My Lord! I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I shall distract them in the earth, and I shall lead all of them astray.” 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 (To which God) said: "This way is right by Me. 41 No power shall you have over (all) My creatures except those who fall into error and follow you, 42 For whom the ordained place is surely Hell, 43 "It (Hell) has seven gates, for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
