Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
