Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins. 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon are joined, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 Never so, for there will be no escape. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 Indeed, man shall be a witness against himself, 14 Whatever the excuses he may offer. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 and give no thought to the life to come [and to Judgment Day]! 21 (Some) faces on that day shall be bright, 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 And on that day some faces will be ghastly. 24 Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; 25 Nay! When it comes up to the throat, 26 and it is said, 'Who is an enchanter?' 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
