Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
