The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
