The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
