The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
