We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
