Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth). 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
