In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 And by those who float in space, 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 And those who govern the event, 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. 25 In this, behold, there is a lesson indeed for all who stand in awe [of God]. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
