Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
