Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
