Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 Had these indeed been gods they would not have gone there. But (as it is), all of you shall ever abide in it." 99 Therein wailing is their portion, and therein they hear not. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 they shall be, kept far from it neither shall they hear any whisper of it, and they shall dwell forever in that their souls desired; 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it. 104 And assuredly We have prescribed in the Scripture after the admonition, that: the land! there shall inherit it My bondmen righteous. 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say: It is only inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah. Will ye then surrender (unto Him)? 108 But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far; 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
