Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 The angels say, "Each of us has an appointed place. 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
