The Fig (Al-Teen)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and this safe country (Mecca)! 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 Then We return him to the lowest of the low, 5 except those who have faith and do righteous deeds. Theirs is a never ending reward. 6 What henceforth shall make thee belie the Requital? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of the rulers? 8
