Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
