AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
