۞ Hast thou not seen those who exchanged the bounty of God with unthankfulness, and caused their people to dwell in the abode of ruin? -- 28 (Even to) hell? They are exposed thereto. A hapless end! 29 They set up rivals with Allah to lead others astray. Say to them: 'Take your pleasure; your arrival shall be the Fire' 30 [And] tell [those of] My servants who have attained to faith that they should be constant in prayer and spend [in Our way,] secretly and openly, out of what We provide for them as sustenance, ere there come a Day when there will be no bargaining, and no mutual befriending. 31 God is the One who created the heavens and the earth, sent down water from the sky by which He produced fruits for your sustenance, enabled you to use boats to sail on the sea, and placed the rivers at your disposal, all by His command. 32 And subjugated the sun and moon for you so that they perform their tasks diligently; and subdued the night and day for your service. 33 and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful. 34
