We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
