O Prophet, say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women, that they draw their veils close to them; so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. 60 Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. 61 Such was the law of God among those before you; and you will not find any change in the law of God. 62 The people will question thee concerning the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is only with God; what shall make thee know? Haply the Hour is nigh.' 63 Verily Allah hath cursed the infidels, and hath gotten ready for them a Blaze. 64 To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 They shall say, 'Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 Our Lord, give them chastisement twofold, and curse them with a mighty curse!' 68
