Do the sick at heart imagine that God will not bring to light their malice? 29 And if We would, We could show them unto thee (Muhammad) so that thou shouldst know them surely by their marks. And thou shalt know them by the burden of their talk. And Allah knoweth your deeds. 30 And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle). 31 Those who disbelieve and bar from the Path of Allah, and break with the Messenger after guidance has been made clear to them shall not hurt Allah a thing, and He will annul their deeds. 32 O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and render not vain your deeds. 33 ۞ Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them. 34 So do not lose heart or appeal for peace when you have gained the upper hand. God is with you and will never let your works go to waste. 35 The worldly life is only a childish game. If you have faith and piety, you will receive your rewards and God will not ask you to pay for them. 36 If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness. 37 Behold! You are those who are called upon to spend for God's cause, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever stints does so against his own self. Indeed, God is self-sufficient, but you stand in need [of Him], and if you turn back, He will bring in your place another people, who will not be like you. 38
