(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
