The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
