Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 till you reached the grave. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
