Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
