THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
