Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and covered them with torment. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
