The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
