The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
