Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
