Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 showing thankfulness for His blessings; He chose him, and He guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 Then, We revealed to you: 'Follow the Creed of Abraham, he of pure faith, he was not among the idolaters' 123 As for the Sabbath, it was made incumbent only on those who differed about its laws. Certainly your Lord will judge on the Day of Resurrection between them regarding the matters they disputed. 124 Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation and reason with them in a way that is best. Your Lord knows best those who have strayed away from His path, and He knows best those who are rightly guided. 125 If you punish, let your punishment be proportionate to the punishment you received. But if you are patient, it is better for the patient. 126 Exercise patience and let it be only for the cause of God. Do not be grieved about them nor disappointed at their evil plans. 127 Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good. 128
