Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 who, in adversity say: 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return' 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Save those that repent and amend, and make manifest the truth; these it is toward whom I relent. And I am the Relenting, the Merciful! 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 They are there (in the Fire) for eternity neither shall the punishment be lightened for them; nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your God is one God. There is no deity save Him. He is the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
