And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it to the extent that they see the painful punishment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 or move during your prostration with the worshippers. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
