The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
