The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
