See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
